It can be sometimes difficult to talk to your partner, family or friends about your treatment. Counselling can provide you with an opportunity to make sense of your individual circumstances. Being able to talk freely in a quiet, confidential, non-judgemental setting can be invaluable. Counselling can help you understand the impact treatment may have on you and those close to you. Our counselling team are made up of Counsellors accredited by the British Infertility Counselling Association and counselling can be undertaken before during or after your treatment.
WFI employ two British Infertility Counselling Association (BECA) accredited counsellors. Lynda Mizen and Jayne Hill for the WFI Counselling Team.

I am an accredited member of the British Infertility Counselling Association and have served on the executive committee.
I am a qualified, experienced integrative therapist and supervisor and a registered member of BACP and a member of BICA (working towards accreditation).
I have worked in a variety of settings and organisations including private practice. I have additional qualifications and specialisms in sexual health, HIV and baby loss.
I am a caring, warm, and approachable counsellor. I feel passionate about my role at WFI supporting our patients through their fertility journey and helping to promote emotional well-being.
